Attendance

Every period of lecture, tutorial, practicals, project, workshop and other curricular and co‐curricular activities shall be counted as one unit for the purpose of counting attendance e.g. if a class comes for four periods at a time four unit of attendance will be counted.

Periods of study spent in sessional exams shall also be taken as presence to count attendance/contract periods.

Students, while representing various teams of the Institute during the Inter college sports or engaged in extracurricular activities with the prior and written permission of the Principal shall be counted as presence in accordance with the time table for the purpose of counting attendance.

Be regular in your classes and maintain your attendance as specified by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and Board of Technical Education, U.P. which should be 80% attendance in individual subjects in both theory and practical separately.
No student will be allowed to appear in the end semester examination if he / she does not satisfy the overall average attendance requirements mentioned in the above clauses. The attendance shall be counted from the date of admission in the college.

Further, in case of short attendance, student(s) will be liable for any action taken up against him/ her by the Institute, which may include suspension/ rustication/ detention.

Discipline

o Plain Sky Blue Shirt/ Kurta with sleeves [ Kurta Permitted Only for Girls ]
o Formal Navy Blue Trouser
o Formal Black Shoes
o Formal Black Belt
o Carbon Navy Blue Blazers in winter season
o Identity Card issued by the Institute to be displayed prominently while in the Institute premises.

Re-admission

Re-admission of students whose names have been struck off may be considered at the discretion of the principal on payment of re-admission fees along with the dues and penalty.

Notice Board – ERP and Offline

It is the duty of the students to take note of all notices published on the student’s ERP app and on the notice board at the campus for their information and compliance. Notices normally remain displayed on the notice boards (online and offline) for a maximum period of seven days after which they may be removed. Failure to read the notice displayed on the notice board will not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance of orders.

Management’s Right

The management reserves the right to make additions and alterations to the existing rules, working hours, time table, and mode of training as may be deemed fit from time to time. The student shall be required to abide by the rules that are updated and informed from time to time.
